8 Fortnightly Disability, Neurodivergence and Mental Illness Friendly Burlesque Course for Group and Solo Act Development Students
Two-Part Burlesque Course held over 8 fortnightly classes for ease of access. Students also have the opportunity to perform in a live end of term show!
Available for Beginners and Intermediate burlesque dance students.

Hour 1 - Burlesque Fundamentals & Group Routine
Group class for a group performance for all abili-tease! You will learn a fun and sensual group routine with the added opportunity to perform it in a real show at the end of term showcase. This is a beginners burlesque course taught with accessibility in mind. The routine is adjusted to the needs of the students as the term progresses.
Hour 2 - Solo Act Development
Aspiring soloists will work each week building a solo burlesque act to debut at the end of course showcase. Learn the fundamentals of solo act creation and professional development from an accessible perspective. This course includes coaching from a special guest teacher and a professional photoshoot.
You must have completed at least one previous term of Tease-Able Group Class or be enrolled in this terms Group Class to enrol in the solo development class on its own or intermediates course as a whole.

Beginners - Never done burlesque before? Or new to the art and want to get the fundamentals down? Learn the history of burlesque, beginners dance moves and tassel twirling, as well as learn a very simple group routine that you have the option to perform to a live audience at the end of each term!

11:30am - 12:30pm Beginners Basics Burlesque
12:30pm - 1:25pm Beginners Solo Act Development

Intermediate - Must have completed at least one term of Tease-Able beginners classes to enrol. For those who want to learn a group routine or focus on solo work.

1:35pm - 2:30pm - Intermediate Group
2:30pm - 3:20pm - Intermediate Solo Act Development

This course is open to anyone with a physical disability, mental health condition, neurodivergence of any form or those who simply find regular classes too overwhelming.

​- Solo students must have completed at least one previous term of Tease-Able Group Class to enrol in the solo development class on its own. Otherwise to enrol as a soloist you must also be enrolled in the group/fundamentals class as well.
To enrol in the intermediates class you must have completed at least one term of Tease-Able beginners class or have other burlesque experience.

Every weeks class is filmed as much as possible and posted for students to access in between classes with ongoing support online in student groups and chats (must use Facebook to access this feature).

About class location & accessibility - Classes held at Belco Arts, 118 Emu Bank, Belconnen ACT. Wheelchair access and disability bathrooms on site. I can provide photos of the space if needed. NDIS approved payable in the past. Classes are filmed entirely and posted for students to watch at their own pace if unable to attend class one week to be sure you never miss out if you have an unwell week.

Payment plans welcome and customizable and open to negotiation, 50% payment required before class 1 date. NDIS welcome.

T&C: Class enrolment fees are non-refundable from one week before the date of the first class, after this time places may be sold or gifted on but no refunds are possible.
Payments made via PayPal have a booking fee of 5%
